30 जून 2026 – आज India में Telegram का temporary ban officially खत्म हो रहा है। Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) ने 16 जून को IT Act की Section 69A के तहत Telegram को block किया था। कारण था NEET UGC 2026 re-examination से पहले exam paper leak और misinformation का खतरा। 21 जून को परीक्षा हो गई, और अब ban का समय पूरा हो चुका है।

Telegram को क्यों Block किया गया था?
NEET UGC 2026 Re-exam: NEET UGC 2026 परीक्षा पहले हुई थी लेकिन paper leak की शिकायतें आने के बाद NTA ने re-examination का आयोजन किया। 21 जून को re-exam हुआ।
Telegram पर Paper Leak: Telegram channels और groups पर exam papers और answers circulate होते थे। NTA और MeitY ने पाया कि Telegram इस leak chain का primary platform था।
Section 69A का इस्तेमाल: IT Act की Section 69A government को national security, public order, या sovereignty के लिए किसी भी website या app को block करने का अधिकार देती है।
Message Editing Feature: MeitY ने Telegram को specifically message editing feature को disable करने का भी direction दिया था, क्योंकि इससे fake content को real content की तरह दिखाकर circulate किया जा रहा था।
